ABOUT THE RON ROSNER FAMILY YMCA OF SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY
Celebrating 14 Years of Service to our community.

The Ron Rosner Family YMCA of Spotsylvania County is a branch of the Rappahannock Area YMCA. Thanks to the support from Spotsylvania County and our community, the Spotsylvania Family YMCA opened its doors on July 23, 2003 with a full facility: Gymnasium, pool, wellness/fitness center, aerobics/group fitness studio, spinning room, youth classrooms, Kidz Corner nursery, pavilion and playground "For All" which allows children of all abilities a place to play. In 2009, thanks to the support from Ron Rosner, our facility was renamed to the Ron Rosner Family YMCA of Spotsylvania County.

The Ron Rosner Family YMCA is part of a powerful association of men, women and children committed to bringing about lasting personal and social change. With a focus on nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving the nation's health and well-being and providing opportunities to give back and support neighbors, the Y enables youth, adults, families and communities to be healthy, confident, connected and secure.

RON ROSNER YMCA CAPITAL CAMPAIGN EXPANSION

The Ron Rosner Family YMCA is celebrating its 14th Anniversary on July 23, 2017.  As we reflect back over the years, we feel truly blessed that the citizens of Spotsylvania County have made us part of their lives, whether by joining our facility, working out with us, or by supporting the many outreach programs that strengthen the lives of our children, our families and our community.

The YMCA is committed to improving the health and wellness of individuals. With your help, we will be able to expand our facility and offer life-changing opportunities in the areas of therapeutic wellness, rehabilitation, youth development and healthy living.

Thanks to the efforts from our amazing Board, inidviduals and local businesses, we have raised $940,000 of our $1,100,000 dollar goal.  With over 80% of the monies raised, the finish line is now in sight.  Please consider being part of this historic expansion.  With your financial support we can make this plan a reality and hopefully break ground by the end of 2017.

We hope that you are as passionate as we are and want to thank you in advance for making a positive impact on the lives throughout our community.
