Tuesday, December 2, is #GivingTuesday—a day dedicated to helping those in our Community who are in need.  As part of a global movement, #GivingTuesday follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday and creates a special day for all of us to come together and make a difference in our Community, and is also a great opportunity for end of year giving!  Help provide food for the holidays to needy families or Winter Break Camp for children who would otherwise be left unsupervised at home or comfort/aid for someone experiencing a life altering event, and so much more.  Together we can make a difference! Celebrating 11 Years of Service to our community.

The Ron Rosner Family YMCA of Spotsylvania County is a branch of the Rappahannock Area YMCA. Thanks to the support from Spotsylvania County and our community, the Spotsylvania Family YMCA opened its doors on July 23, 2003 with a full facility: Gymnasium, pool, wellness/fitness center, aerobics/group fitness studio, spinning room, youth classrooms, Kidz Corner nursery, pavilion and playground "For All" which allows children of all abilities a place to play. In 2009, thanks to the support from Ron Rosner, our facility was renamed to the Ron Rosner Family YMCA of Spotsylvania County.

The Ron Rosner Family YMCA is part of a powerful association of men, women and children committed to bringing about lasting personal and social change. With a focus on nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving the nation's health and well-being and providing opportunities to give back and support neighbors, the Y enables youth, adults, families and communities to be healthy, confident, connected and secure.
