Preschool Teacher—the YMCA is looking for a warm, professional and enthusiastic teacher for the upcoming school year. The teacher plans and implements classroom curriculum, communicates information to families, and maintains a safe, healthy, warm, and engaging environment. Age appropriate activities should provide for growth in skill, self-awareness, group relations, and character development.
Required qualifications:
-ability to build and interact as part of team
-passion for children
-high energy, self-motivation
-excellent communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
-CDA, Degree in Early Childhood Education, and/or previous classroom experience

Elizabeth Clark
Executive Director
Elizabeth has worked for the YMCA since 1991. She lives in King George and is married with one daughter.
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Leadership and Management from the University of Mary Washington. She also has her certifications for Senior Program Director.
Her personal motto is "Dont pray for an easy life, pray to be a strong person." She lives, eats and breaths the YMCA. Her favorite part of her job is working with the community and helping the citizens of King George and the surrounding communities.
