As part of the YMCA’s commitment to supporting the local community, three high schools will be utilizing the pool from November 7th –February 11th. They will be using the pool Monday-Friday from 3pm-6pm for swim practice. This will be in addition to the regular swim team practice
THE POOL WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC
MONDAY-FRIDAY 5PM-6PM
Saturday February 4th the pool will be closed all day
When the Spotsylvania schools are closed or after school activities are cancelled, high school swim teams will not be practicing. Their lanes will be available to the public
American Red Cross Courses
January-June 2012 the Ron Rosner YMCA will be offering a variety of American Red Cross certifications.All classes are taught by an American Red Cross certified instructor and are available to both members and non-members.

POOL
The Ron Rosner Family YMCA is proud to offer to its members an indoor 25 yard, 10 lap lane pool. The YMCA Aquatics department offers wonderful developmental experiences that help participants build on their strengths and positive values, all while having fun in the water.
All non-swimmers MUST have an adult in the water within arms reach.

WATER AEROBICS
High-energy, low-impact water aerobics in the water helps to improve strength, conditioning, and cardiovascular health.Classes are available for many levels of fitness, and specialty classes include arthritis aquatics.

Thunderstorms In the event of thunder or lighting the pool will be closed for 30 minutes. If there is another sighting of lightening within that 30 minute time frame the pool will remain closed for another 30 minutes.
Tornados In the event of a tornado warning all patrons will be evacuated into the changing rooms until the tornado warning has been lifted.
Snow In the event of snow or icy conditions the pool may have a delayed opening. It is advised to call the front desk before you set out to swim. For closures tune into B101.5, or WFLS 93.3 or log onto www.family-ymca.org or www.Fredericksburg.com
Stingrays Year Round Swim Team
The Stingrays are a competitive, year‐round swim team, affiliated with YMCA Swimming, USA Swimming and sanctioned by Virginia Swimming. We offer the greatest range of competitive swimming in the area, both USA Swimming and YMCA Swimming Meets for all levels of competition. Swim Instructors
