WAYS TO GIVE

Financial Support or Volunteer

You may choose to give of your time, talent or treasure, but whatever you choose, you are sure to be part of a rewarding, meaningful experience.

Donate
Your financial gifts to your YMCA go directly toward helping people grow in spirit, mind and body. Since the Rappahannock Area YMCA was founded more than 35 years ago, gifts from people like you have made it possible to grow into what we are today.

Tomorrow’s possibilities are limitless when you invest in your YMCA today.

Annual Giving Campaign
While many social service organizations care for people once they are in crisis, your YMCA provides nurturing programs to bring families together and prevent many problems before they begin.

The YMCA is a place where everyone is welcome regardless of age, race, religion or financial circumstances. Each year, through the Partners of Youth annual giving campaign, your gifts provide the financial assistance to ensure that the YMCA’s programs and services are available to the children and families who need them the most. For example, the “Everybody Deserves a Y” financial assistance program ensures that no one is turned away due to the inability to pay full fees.

During the past year, the Rappahannock Area YMCA has provided over $350,000 in the value of scholarships and program subsidies to support its services to the wider community.

Leave a Legacy
Making a planned gift to the YMCA offers a flexible and simple way to combine philanthropy with financial planning. In fact, a planned gift may help you give more to the YMCA than you thought possible, while still providing you or someone you designate with favorable financial and/or tax benefits. Planned gifts to the YMCA are about planning for the future - Your future and the future of children and families. While each planned gift is unique, these gifts can offer significant financial or tax benefits while ensuring that future generations will enjoy the YMCA.
