MON 10:30 - SWIM - technique and form based workout
6:00pm - RUN - short training runs in preparation for the HISTORIC 1/2 M - running at the Y
TUES 1:00-2:30 - SWIM - masters level swim workouts
THURS 9:30 - a RUN is planned in a variety of locations
FRI 11:00 - RUN is planned in a variety of locations
WEEKENDS - we will begin including longer runs on the weekends in preparation for the HISTORIC 1/2 M; bike rides coming SOON!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
INDOOR TRIATHLON TRAINING - March 13th - 8:00am START
sign up at the FRONT DESK - we may need those who can bring in trainers and bikes - based on numbers ... or if you want to do that - no worries
GAME PLAN ~ swim a warm up, swim a 500yd (snake swim if we can), T1 - you can go change in locker rooms, bike on stationary bikes (or your own w/ a trainer) for 1 hour - run similar to a cycling class based on the road, T2 will be in the gym/cycling room, run 5k will be OUTDOORS! Hydration and Nutrition offered afterwards

We have training scheduled Wed & Thurs 4:30-5:00. We will initially focus on overall conditioning then transition into running when the weather allows us to. We have 3 focus events: April 17th King George YMCA 5k/1m kids run; GREAT TRAIN RACE May 2; May 22nd Ron Rosner YMCA 5k/1m kids run
Our training in May moves into kids TRIATHLON training in preparation for the YOUTH TRIATHLON June 6th at Ronn Rosner YMCA
Hello all ... here is our fall schedule - both cycling and aerobic classes are on 1 page for the MORNING and 1 page for the AFTERNOON/EVENING
HOME SCHOOL FITNESS FOR MARCH
We have SWIMMING for FITNESS planned for the month of March.
AGES 4-6 are with Miss Nikki - they swim 1st - come ready and in suits; they will be done by 2:10 and will need help getting dressed; after swimming they will be back in the gym w/ Miss Becky
AGES 7-11 are with Miss Jenny - they swim 2nd; first, they will be in the gym with sports and conditioning. They will swim from 2:15 - 2:55 and then may need help changing
AGES 11 - 18 are with Miss Becky we will also swim 1st - then we have gym time 2nd and will continue with sports and conditioning
IF your home schooler is not swimming they WILL HAVE CLASS - we have gym time w/ Miss Jenny first then w/ Miss Becky
FOR APRIL we are considering doing some bicycle riding and running and FOR MAY we will continue running. Our goal is make MArch - May TRIATHLON TRAINING focused in preparation for the YMCA triathlon June 6, 2010. More info can be found at www.teamytri.com

Wed & Thurs 4:30-5:00 - this will have a running and overall conditoning focus to start - in preparation for the GREAT TRAIN RACE - and other YMCA 1m and 5k kids running events this spring.

GROUP TRAINING NEW YEAR NEW YOU SESSIONS
Beginning the week of Jan 18th ~ we will be offering 6-week sessions of GROUP TRAINING - personal training in a group setting.
We will focus on:
how to do this workout thing? Learning proper form and technique, good training game plans, gettgin aquainted with all that the Y has to offer, and balancing nutrition and working out.
There will be one group designed to train like the biggest loser ... are you up for the challenge?
COST - based on the number of people in the group - get your friends to sign up with you!
2 people in the group: $300 each
3 people in the group: $200 each
4 people in the group: $150 each
Here's what you get: 2 training sessions per week with a personal trainer, 1 additional workout game plan for the week, personal focus on other activities you should be doing, nutritional support - 1 class on nutrition plus support throughout ... you build relationships that will help motivate you and keep you on track and make you accountable!

Tues & Thurs ~ 9:00-10:00 w/ Pearl
Wed & Fri ~ 9:30-10:30 w/ Julie
