The YMCA Preschool provides children with real experiences and exposure through a proven learning process. Our licensed, developmentally appropriate program allows children to explore pre-reading and math skills, as well as enhance fine and large motor skills. The 5-day, 4-year old program even has Spanish and swim time.
Registration Fee: $35
Class Schedules and Monthly Fees (fees are due a month ahead on the 7th of every month):
3 year old class (Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30am-12:00pm)
$110 for members and $150 for non-members
3/4 year old combo class (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9:30am-12:30pm)
$140 for members and $180 for non-members
4 year old 3 day class (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30am-12:30pm)

4 year old 5 day class (Monday-Friday 9:15am-12:15pm)

Inclement Weather Policy
A hands on program designed especially for two year olds and their parents. Special emphasis is placed on socialization skills and providing new experiences through art, music, and gym. Come wearing your play clothes and be ready for some fun! Classes meet Mondays and Fridays from 10:00a.m.-11:30a.m.

SACC (Before and After School Care) 2011-2012 School Year
Challenges, stimulation and having fun is what our school age program is all about. This age group has talents, skills to develop, energy, and huge reservoirs of creativity. Let our staff work with your child to help him/her grow in spirit, mind, and body.
Program runs before and after school (6:00 am - 6:30 pm), servicing all Spotsylvania County Elementary Schools.
We also provide care during school breaks and on Teacher Workdays (please see Teacher Workday portion.)
Registration Fee: $50

8th Period 2011-2012 School Year
This program is a place for middle schoolers to hang out after school. Our staff will provide a safe environment where your child can connect with other people their own age. Whether they are here to do homework, shoot some hoops or hang out with friends, there is something for everyone to enjoy in 8th Period.
Program runs after school only until 6:30 pm. We provide care for children from Spotsylvania, Thornburg, Post Oak, and Battlefield Middle Schools.
Registration Fee: $50

Inclement Weather Policy
We provide safe, fun, and affordable child care on Teacher Workdays. Our hours are from 6:00 am until 6:30 pm. We may schedule a field trip, which will always be under $10 and must be paid in cash. Please make sure your child brings a swimsuit, towel, a lunch, and two snacks. Registration is open to all children in grades K-5 for the SACC sites and K-8 for our Spotsylvania branch site. Please refer to our calendar of events for registration dates.
Participant fee (registered for before AND after care): FREE!

Teacher Workday Information
If your child loves to swim, do arts & crafts, play board games or just play fun, physical games --YOUR CHILD WILL NOT WANT TO MISS OUT!!
Children must be at least 5 years old to participate. Sneakers are required to go to the gym on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
JANUARY KIDZ CLUB CALENDAR
Mondays & Wednesdays 5:30pm-7:30pm (gymnasium)
Your child will be in the gym for fun, energetic team games and sports, plus individual challenges. Some activities you can expect are sports such as dodge ball, kickball, volleyball, etc. Plus, scavenger hunts and mental challenges that require physical efforts to reach an end goal either individually or as a group. TENNIS SHOES ARE REQUIRED.
Also, swimming nights are held monthly with use of the DRAGON!
Tuesdays 5:00pm-7:30pm (Youth Classroom)
Tuesday Kidz Club activities are held in one of the youth classrooms, and will include fun arts & crafts, science, and cooking projects, plus more...
Thursdays 5:00pm-7:30pm (Youth Classroom)
Mind sparking activities will include group dynamics, board games, classroom games, theme nights, and much more! All games will help foster new friendships, cooperation, teamwork, and FUN!
PARENTS! Take the night off and leave the kids to us!! We provide snacks, movies, swimming, games, arts & crafts and much, much more! Space is limited to 50 children. Let's get this "girls only" party started! Y-Girl LIFE (leadership, intelligence, fitness, expression) is about being healthy, active, and positive. Your child will learn to cook and eat healthy, make positive decisions, do arts and crafts, stay physically fit, and go on educational trips. Each session meets on Saturdays from 11am - 1pm. For young ladies ages 7-13.

Are you looking for something to do to make a difference? Well come join us at our Teen Leaders Club. The club focuses on leadership, self esteem, and good character. Activities include monthly “Fun Nights”, trainings, trips, and community service. Interested yet?

Fees: One time club membership/school year
Members $30 / child
Non-Members $60 / child
Times: 6pm-7pm (time and date may vary depending on activity)
Days: 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month during the school year beginning October 12th.
